EUROPEA ECOBOND
The
Spanish State Port Authority intends to launch an Europea EcoBond
in order to promote short sea shipping in the Western Mediterranean.
This project, which will be presented to the mechanism “Connecting
Europe”, involves the participation of Spain, Portugal, France
and Italy, and aims at implementing a system of subsidies to the
carrier who chooses to use the sea motorway instead of travelling by
road.
